Do you have a best friend like I do? One who is ready to conquer the mountains at Magic Kingdom or try all the foods at a booth in Epcot? What about racing thru Hollywood Studios with you to get to Batu? If you do, then this is your sign to plan a girls trip to Walt Disney World! This getaway with your bestie will change your entire Disney experience!
What do you want to do together?
When planning your trip think of the different festivals at Epcot, the shopping at Disney Springs, and the fun dinners & spots all around the resorts at Walt Disney World.
The best thing about traveling with your girlfriend(s) is the pure fun and relaxation of not having to plan for every moment and enjoy your moments & feel like a kid again.
No excuses..just do it!
Here are just a FEW amazing reasons why it’s time to stop “thinking about it” and make the trip happen!
- the flexibility of being able to eat at any time during the day
- you don’t have to share your snack with a kid
- adult beverages
- dining at the places the the kids would say are “ew”
- OR If you’re going during a Epcot festival (my favorite is Food & Wine) you can spend your day walking the showcase & eating on top of the trashcans as you move from country to country (trust me, it’s more fun than you think!)
- stay at the resort that fits you and your gals best and not have to decide based on what the kids like
Just BE
Planning, is a huge undertaking for all us moms when taking our family to Disney! So, when you’re with your gals go without a plan! (Yeah, you heard me, just have fun)
Having your besties with you at Walt Disney World is all about the fun & the excitement for you in the moment!
Line is too long for a ride? Skip it and head to another. Do you want to sit on the hub grass and eat a Mickey bar? DO IT! Take the time and eat ALL the snacks!
ALSO, don’t forget to take a moment to snap photos around the parks. You will look back on them and be so glad that you did.
FOCUS on YOU
Keep the focus on you and your gal’s! Since you are footloose and fancy free, hop on the Skyliner, Boat or Monorail and soak up the magic and visit somewhere new on the Disney Resort property. But don’t forget to take selfies of all of your laughing moments. You can even check out one of the amazing lounges around Disney property and enjoy a quick drink or appetizer. Trader Sam’s Grotto, at the Polynesian, is one of my favorites. Be sure and check it out, the atmosphere is amazing. Be sure and leave some time for you to hang out at your resort pool and soak up a little Florida sun. Remember you and your girls deserve it!
You see, from all the ups and downs that life throws at us, we all deserve a little time away. Time to step into the magic at Walt Disney World and spend quality time with our gals. The gals that are there for you every step of the way.
So, go order your matching shirts or your Disney bounding wardrobe and put on your Mickey Ears. Stop talking about IF and decide NOW to take the girls trip!
