First of all the photo book has a value of $100 dollars so you will want to take advantage of this offer.
You will receive a package of documents from Disney about 2 weeks before your trip. This packet will contain all your check in information as well as all your vouchers for magical extras. There will also be a coupon with a unique coupon code for your free photo book. This coupon code can only be used one time so don’t give it to anyone.
When you get home from Disney you will go to the Disney PhotoPass website and get your pictures from your trip. You will need to create an accounte and then put the code from the PhotoPass card(s) in your account. Then you can make your photo book and enter your coupon code at checkout. You will get a basic photo book. If you decide to add pages or enhancements then you will have to pay for those extras.
If you want to have a great photo book you will want to have lots of great pictures to work with. Here are some tips and information to get lots of great PhotoPass pictures.
You will find PhotoPass photographers at the entrances to the theme parks and other special places throughout the parks. You will also find them with the characters. You won’t see them at restaurants including character meals.
The first time you see one of the photographers ask them for a PhotoPass card. This is a little card with a bar code that will collect all your pictures. After they take your pictures they will scan the card and then give it to you. You can use the same card for your whole trip. If you don’t have it with you then you can always get another one but don’t lose it. Tip: You may want to take a picture of the bar code so that you will have all the information in case you lose the card.
The next time you see a photographer give them your PhotoPass card so they can add those pictures to your account. Try to get several pictures in every park. Have fun with it.
The photographers will help you take special pictures that can be enhanced later. For example, you can take a picture with your hands out and later add tinkerbell so it looks like you are holding her.
