Up until recently there was a $10 per day charge to use the internet at the Disney resorts. As part of an upgrade many of the Disney resorts will be offering free wifi in the rooms.
I just spoke with my reporters (my traveling parents) that they are getting the wifi at Pop Century today. According to other internet research there should be wifi at all Disney resorts with the exception of the Fort Wilderness Campground where this is wired service.
Besides having access in your room you should also have access in the common areas such as bus stops, restaurants, pools and more.
With this free wifi you can take advantage of apps such as the Disney World Magic Guide where you can find out about attraction wait times, restaurants and more. Its so cool!
Let me know if you have been at a Disney resort that does NOT have the wifi. I would love to know.
