It is really important to plan ahead when it comes to height requirements for Walt Disney World. There is nothing worse than your child being all excited to ride something, and be turned away due to height. But don’t worry, if your child is not tall enough yet, we have some advice for that too.
Planning ahead and wondering which rides your little ones will be able to enjoy (or which rides your bigger kids have outgrown)? This height chart should come in handy!

If they are not tall enough, don’t worry. Disney has a great solution, rider swap. With rider swap, you can take turns going on the ride and waiting with the child that is not tall enough to ride.
You will also notice a lot of rides are not listed. Some favorites like Pirates of the Caribbean, it’s a small world, Peter Pan, and many others don’t have height requirements. That is because, so many rides are for all riders. Everyone from a baby you hold on your lap to grandma and grandpa can all ride together.
These heights are also listed in the My Disney Experience app under “Wait times and Showtimes” so if you can’t remember, you can look there quick and see what the height restrictions are. Rides for everyone are listed as “any height”.
