We love Royal Caribbean and we have also been on a lot of cruises. As if March 2024, Royal Caribbean had 65 ships leaving from ports all over the world and many more are coming. Here is a series about the Explorer of the Seas.
The Explorer of the Seas is in the Voyager Class. It took its maiden voyage in October of 2010. This ship is over 137,000 gross tons making in one of the larger ships (although not as big as the Oasis or Icon Class ships). This ship boasts an ice skating rink, rock climbing wall, mini golf coarse, pools, adventure beach for the little ones and more. It also has an indoor promenade like main street USA with shops, ice cream and coffee shops and more.
The Explorer of the Seas went through an amplification in 2020 that gave the ship a great update.
The Royal Caribbean ships are always moving around. They change their deployments every other year or so. We sailed on the Explorer of the Seas from Bayonne, New Jersey to Bermuda. In 2025 it will be in Miami before going to the Mediterranean.
