Top 5 Shows in Disney World

February 17, 2026 by Allison Sandberg

There are lots of great shows and attractions in Disney World. After all, Disney started as an entertainment company. There are lots of great shows to see but you don’t always have time to included them all in your trip. Here are the top 5 live performer shows that we try not to miss on each trip.

Keep in mind, this doesn’t include the night time shows. I would highly recommend Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios. Even though it is a night time show it does include lots of performers too!

Now, let’s get to our list of Top 5 Shows in Disney World

Beauty and the Beast – Live On Stage (Hollywood Studios)

This show is really like a Broadway show, just a little shorter. This is perfect for younger ones that might not be able to sit through a full length show. The show is only about 25 minutes. You can use lightning lane to select your showtime but I find getting there a little early is fine and you can save your lightning lane for something else.

The show is outside, although it is covered, shady, and there are fans, it can get hot still. Just keep that in mind based on the weather of the day if it will work for your group.

Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular (Hollywood Studios)

This is another action packed show. You will see how they perform some real stunts and it is very exciting to watch. There will be some audience participation as well. This show also runs about 25 to 30 minutes.

There will be loud sounds, explosions, fire, and other special effects to keep in mind. The theater is very large so no lightning lane needed. It is outside and covered.

Frozen First Time in Forever Sing-a-long (Hollywood Studios)

This is one of my personal favorite shows. Who doesn’t love to sing along to the anthems of Arendelle. What makes it even more fun, are the two town historians that add a lot of humor to this retelling. Best of all, singing is encouraged.

This theater is inside and air conditioned making it a great option for a mid day activity. The show is about 30 minutes and you will love the magical ending when Elsa makes it snow.

Festival of the Lion King – (Animal Kingdom)

This is such a fun and exciting show for all ages. From the tumbling monkeys to the the fire filled theatrics, you will all enjoy this show. Your favorite Lion King friends will be there too. There is a little audience participation as you learn the sounds of a few different animals. This indoor show is about 40 min.

Finding Nemo is one of the Top 5 Shows in Disney World

Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond! – (Animal Kingdom)

This is another great option for a mid day break as you enjoy a cool time in this airconditioned theater. This 25 min show will take you under the sea with Nemo and friends. What is really spectacular is all the scenery and puppetry that brings this story to life.

Bonus Show: ¡Celebración Encanto!- (Epcot)

I have to add this extra show because it really is so fun. This is a casual outdoor area, not really a theater. The kids can sit on the grass and adults may be lucky enough to find a spot on the half wall to sit for a bit. But, you won’t be sitting for long as they will have you up and dancing with your favorite friends from Encanto. This short dance party happens many times throughout the day.

This outdoor space has some shady spots but overall is just a fun outdoor dance party to join in. It is located in the World Celebration area of Epcot.
