The Resort
Beaches Negril is a beautiful, all-inclusive resort in Jamaica designed for everyone, including families, friends and groups.
Located on the island’s west side, about 50 miles from Montego Bay, the resort is a scenic 90-minute transfer from the airport. It sits along Negril’s famous Seven Mile Beach, offering gorgeous sunsets and 1,400 feet of beachfront. Spanning 20 acres, Beaches Negril strikes the perfect balance with plenty of activities and amenities while remaining very accessible for all ages.
One important note is that Beaches Negril does not have elevators. If you have mobility concerns, request an accessible or ground floor room.
Dining
Beaches is known for its 5-Star Global Gourmet and Beaches Negril doesn’t disappoint. With over 10 dining locations and new food trucks, there are at least six locations that serve dinner.
You’ll find from Teppanyaki to ice cream with dining options that include buffets, a la carte dining, and food trucks. The diverse cuisine features Mexican, Japanese, sushi, barbeque, Italian, and more.
The resort is accommodating for guests with food allergies. Dino’s Pizzeria even offers gluten-free pizza and the Culinary Concierge is available on-site to discuss dietary needs.
Our favorite lunch option is Dino’s Pizzeria and we enjoyed it at least once a day. Other great options include Jerk Shack, Chick’N Dippers, and the food trucks.
Be sure to save room for treats! For soft serve frozen yogurt with lots of toppings, check out YoYo’s Yogurt. The kids will have so much fun and you will love that it is all included.
For something more sophisticated, Cafe de Paris serves specialty coffees, pastries, and other delicious treats from early morning to after dinner.
Rooms
Beaches Negril has a variety of room options to suite different group sizes and preferences. Entry-level rooms, such as the Tropical Concierge King and Tropical Concierge Double, sleep four guests and are conveniently located throughout the resort with ground floor rooms available.
If you are looking for more space or have a family of five, you may be interested in the Concierge Family Suite. These rooms have a king bed, along with a daybed, trundle, and pull-out chair where kids can each have their own bed.
New accommodations at the resort is the Eventide Penthouse with three and four bedroom options. The Eventide Penthouse Four Bedroom Butler Walkout has four bedrooms and four and half bathrooms. It sleeps up to 18 people and includes:
- Master Bedroom: King and Queen sleeper sofa
- Bunk Room: Two sets of bunk beds with trundle
- Bedroom 3: Two Queen beds
- Bedroom 4: Twin bunk bed with trundle
- Living Area: Lots of living and kitchen space and a pull-out sofa
Activities
There is no shortage of fun at Beaches Negril with activities for every age and interest. Pirates Island Water Park has two water slides, a lazy river, and a kids’ slide area with dump bucket. Guests can also enjoy multiple pools and of course, the beach area.
For little ones, Sesame Street brings a lot of other activities to participate in. There are character parades along with characters around the resort for a photo and hug. If you want something extra special, you can reserve a character breakfast or Night Night, Sleep Tight that has a character come to your room and tuck your little one into bed. There’s even sunrise yoga!
Parents can take advantage of Kids Camp with supervised activities for kids of all ages. Whether you want a quiet dinner, some adult time, or the opportunity to go snorkeling, the Kids Camp ensures your kids are having fun while you’re enjoying some time alone.
The resort also includes boat and water activities from snorkeling and scuba diving for PADI-certified guests to banana boats, kayaks and more.
