Join Jimmy Fallon and all your favorite characters from The Tonight Show in a fun-filled race through, below, and above New York City.
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is an open-air roller coaster that features a 167-foot tall, vertical lift, reaches speeds of up to 65 mph, and—despite the loop and several corkscrews—does not actually invert (hence the lack of over-the-shoulder restraints).
As you strap in, each seat has an onboard stereo system that lets each passenger choose a ride soundtrack to hear above your own ear-shattering shrieks as you take this high-speed thrill ride.
Minion Mayhem
Join Gru and his daughters to find Universal Studios Florida’s silliest attraction. You’ll be recruited to “become” a Minion and accompany Margo, Edith, and Agnes on a motion-simulator theater ride with a unique storyline.
Things never seem to go as planned in the supervillain’s laboratory, so keep an eye out for danger in this madcap adventure. Despicable Me Minion Mayhem is a heartwarming, family fun ride for everyone!
Simpsons: The Ride
Welcome to Springfield! Grab a seat with The Simpsons™ on a virtual reality roller coaster ride.
As the journey begins, someone is sabotaging Krustyland, Krusty the Clown’s low-budget theme park, and you’ll smash and blast through the park with Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie in an over-the-top, nonstop adventure.
The Revenge of the Mummy
The Revenge of the Mummy is an indoor roller coaster that propels riders from a complete standstill up to 45 mph. It’s approximately 3 minutes of total darkness, plagued on all sides by huge fireballs, swarms of scarab beetles, and an army of warrior mummies. This high-speed thrill of twists and turns is one you definitely don’t want to miss. Note: this ride does not go upside down.
Epic Cinema Under the Stars
Finish your fun-filled day with Epic Cinema Under the Stars showing on select nights. An epic show is lighting up the night at Universal Studios Florida with a colossal celebration of music, water, and light that transforms the park and takes you into the movies like never before.
As music from the world’s biggest films fills the air, scores of shining, dancing fountains erupt. Massive walls of water blaze with incredible movie moments and powerful projections bring the entire waterfront into the movies. You’ll see and hear roaring dinosaurs from Jurassic World, feel the adrenaline rush of high-speed cars from Fast & Furious, watch the mischievous antics of the Minions from Illumination’s Despicable Me, and so much more. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Day 2
Let’s begin our ADVENTURE to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!! If you never got that letter from Hogwarts, you’re not alone. If you’ve ever fantasized of ditching your Muggle status and joining the ranks of wizards and witches and surrounding yourself with all things Harry Potter in the process, prepare to have your dreams come true at Universal Orlando Resort!
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is made up of two lands—Diagon Alley at Universal Studios and Hogsmeade at Universal’s Island of Adventure. Board the Hogwarts Express and travel between the two wizarding lands. You’ll explore The Wizarding World from Hogwarts Castle to Gringotts Bank, to flying through the Forbidden Forest on a thrilling roller coaster while experiencing the magic.
Diagon Alley
Experience The Wizarding World of Harry Potter—Diagon Alley. As you walk the familiar streets of London, passing buskers, red telephone booths, and King’s Cross Station, you’ll pass through the brick archway and catch your first glimpse of this hidden magical marketplace. Keep a watchful eye on the roof of Gringotts as the dragon is known to breathe fire!
Once inside, grab a glass of Butterbeer or Pumpkin Juice from iconic establishments like the Leaky Cauldron, the Hopping Pot, and other themed dining options or even from a passing street vendor. Find the perfect wand at Ollivanders and get sized for your school uniform at Madam Malkin’s Robes. You will find many other wizardly treats and shopping opportunities as you explore Diagon Alley.
Lastly, King’s Cross Station is where you can board the Hogwarts™ Express and journey from the center of London to Hogsmeade Station.
Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts
Enter Gringotts Bank beneath the massive fire-breathing dragon at the far end of Diagon Alley. Inside, walk through the bank’s grand marble lobby and see goblins hard at work. Then get ready to take a journey through cavernous passageways that lead deep underground as you climb aboard this mind-blowing, multi-dimensional thrill ride.
You’ll face the bank’s stringent security measures while navigating perilous subterranean vaults. Along the way, you’ll encounter Harry, Ron, and Hermione. But you’ll have to evade the wrath of malicious villains Voldemort™ and Bellatrix, as well as trolls and other creatures that stand between you and a safe return to Diagon Alley.
Hogwarts Express
Board and ride the Hogwarts Express from either King’s Cross Station in London at Universal Studios Florida and travel to Hogsmeade Station in Universal’s Islands of Adventure, or ride the other way around for a different experience. Onboard you’ll see characters and creatures featured in the films. From the thrill of walking through Platform 9 ¾ to watching the British countryside pass by your window, we assure you this is not your everyday train ride.
Hogsmeade
Explore the wonders of this Wizarding village. Nestled at the foot of Hogwarts Castle, you’ll find this snowcapped wizarding village bustling with enchanting shops, an inviting tavern, and more. When you get your first glimpse of the towering castle housing Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry you will feel like you have stepped right into the movie.
Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
Enter through the towering castle gates and make your way down the familiar passageways and corridors of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Visit iconic locations such as Dumbledore’s office, the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom, the Gryffindor common room, the Room of Requirement, and more. Then get ready to soar above the castle grounds as you join Harry Potter and his friends on an unforgettably thrilling adventure. This amazing attraction uses groundbreaking, state-of-the-art technology (and a little magic) to create a one-of-a-kind ride.
Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure
An epic new addition has arrived at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. For the first time ever, fly deep into the wilds of the Forbidden Forest, beyond the grounds of Hogwarts castle. As you twist past towering trees, magical creatures and wondrous surprises surround you. One misstep could drop you into an endless pit of Devil’s Snare or put you in the sights of a centaur’s bow. Anything can happen here.
With Hagrid as your guide, an all-new adventure is taking off as you board magical motorbikes to fly far into the dark forest. Nighttime lights at Hogwarts Castle—come experience The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle, a dazzling spectacle of music and lights. On select nights, watch in awe from Hogsmeade Village as projections are cast against the majestic backdrop of the castle. Day 3
This is where it goes down. And up. And down again. To those who say “Yay adventure” we’re here for you. Enter mythical lands at Universal’s Islands of Adventure where superheroes, beasts, and magical creatures are all real. A school of witchcraft and even dinosaurs (turns out, not so extinct). Take a ride or multiple rides. Some will drench you. Some will just mess up your hair. Some will make your head spin (figuratively speaking). Every island is a new reality.
Marvel Superhero Island
Step into the pages of your favorite comic book alongside some of your favorite superheroes, allies, and enemies at Marvel Super Hero Island. Don’t miss this chance to meet Spider-Man, Captain America, Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm and Rogue, as well as Marvel villains like Dr. Doom and The Green Goblin.
Marvel Superhero Island is one of the most thrilling at Islands of Adventure. It is home to four thrill attractions including the Incredible Hulk roller coaster, the Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, Storm Force Acceleration, and Doctor Doom’s Fearfall.
Dine with your favorite superheroes at the Marvel Character Dining experience at Captain America Diner.
The Incredible Hulk Coaster
Step inside a high-security research compound commanded by General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross. You’ve bravely volunteered to be a test subject for a (potentially life-altering) science experiment based on Dr. Bruce Banner’s research.
At the General’s word, your group is blasted with gamma radiation. Suddenly you feel unstoppable. Before you can blink, you’re catapulted out with the force of a fighter jet. Hulk-like power propels you upside down into a weightless zero-gravity roll, racing faster and faster down the track.
Hang on with superhuman strength as this high-speed, red-line rampage smashes its way through the sky!
The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man
Blast into action with Spider-Man! Strap on your 3-D glasses and join the world’s most famous web-slinger in a high-flying virtual reality ride. The villains of the Sinister Syndicate have stolen the Statue of Liberty and it’s up to Spidey to save the day.
You’ll face a cast of Marvel characters as you soar above the streets, scale skyscrapers, and battle bad guys left and right. The high-definition 3-D graphics are so vivid you might catch yourself counting the stitches on Spider-Man’s gloves. Just watch out for the 400-foot freefall.
Jurassic Park
Step into Jurassic Park and stand in awe and wonder at a land transformed by science after 65 million years, but don’t be deceived by the island’s beauty because danger lurks behind every corner.
Only here can you live the adventure of coming face to face with giant creatures of the Earth’s past, encounter raptors roaming every day, or take a daring raft expedition through jungles teeming with dinosaurs. For those brave enough to visit the raptor paddock, you may be able to carefully approach one of the deadly predators or decide to go the safer route and explore dark caves to learn more about their prehistoric past.
The Raptor Encounter
The fear is real! With a reputation as the most intelligent dinosaur on Isla Nublar, raptors are also one of the most dangerous. Those brave enough to visit The Raptor Encounter will have a chance to see the newest addition to the park’s raptor pack—Blue. Your experience begins with one of our experts trained in raptor behavior. Here you’ll learn interesting facts about the clever carnivore and her natural habitat.
Then if you’re brave enough, you can try to slowly approach her to snap a quick photo, but don’t make any sudden movements because her dagger-like teeth are just inches away. Are you daring enough to get up close to this fan-favorite dinosaur?
Jurassic Park River Adventure
It’s lunchtime and you’re on the menu! This scenic water cruise starts out innocently enough, gliding along in your raft, watching a baby stegosaurus and its mother share a memorable moment. When out of nowhere, you’re bumped off course and thrust into the ominous “restricted area” of Jurassic Park. This is where they keep the other creatures—the dangerous ones. Suddenly a T. Rex stands before you. There’s nowhere to turn. Your only possible escape from his razor-sharp teeth is to take the pitch-black plunge before you. (Ummm…did we mention it’s an 85-foot drop?) We hope you brought a towel!
Seuss Landing
The colorful, whimsical world of Dr. Seuss comes alive at Seuss Landing, which is located to the immediate right of the Port of Entry to Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
Step into the world of Dr. Seuss as you encounter some of his most beloved creations, including The Cat in the Hat (along with his cohorts Thing One and Thing Two!), The Grinch, The Lorax, Horton the Elephant, Sam I Am, Gerald McGrew, and many more.
