My daughter is currently in first grade and its been a challenging year as she is learning to read and write. I saw on pinterest that you could write a letter to your favorite Disney character and they will send you a signed picture in return. I thought it was a good idea and would give my daughter some extra practice and purpose to her writing.
Ariel is her favorite princess so when I told her the idea she immediately thought of her. She quickly wrote a letter telling Ariel how much she liked her and Prince Eric. We mailed this letter
to:
Walt Disney World Communications PO Box 10040 Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830-0040It took a couple weeks but we got a postcard in the mail today addressed to my daughter with a note from Cinderella and a picture of 8 princesses with their signatures.
This is a great activity for your children. They can write any character they choose. My son will probably write one if his favorites next. A younger child can draw a picture for their favorite character and you can just write short note to go with it. Just be sure to sign your child’s name so that the letter you get back will be addressed to them.
Have you done this? Let is know what type of card/picture you got!
