In 2018 Disney introduced evening entry to Typhoon Lagoon as a separate ticketed event called H2O Glow Nights. The event was a hit and we are excited to see it make it’s return! Read along and see how Tammy took advantage of this event to spend some extra time with her girls!
Tammy’s Tips for a Successful “Glow”
My trip last July included three teenage girls who were excited to try this after hours glow night. We loved it. Here are all the details so you can decide if you want to add this to your next Disney Vacation!
Our H20 Glow Nights Experience
You could begin entering the park as early as 6:00 PM but the official hours for the event are 8 to 11 PM. Upon entrance to the park you were given a special wristband and a glow stick to wear around your neck. All of the rides were open. The rest of the guests slowly trickled out and soon we had to park all to ourselves. Humunga Cowabunga which had a huge line during the day had no line in the evening. As we went from slide to slide we found that we could just walk on… Everything! We did more in two hours than we had done in an entire day earlier in our trip. There was a dance party on the beach complete with, lights, more glow sticks and a DJ. The Toy Story characters hosted the event and we were able to get pictures with all of them. Again, with little to no wait. As a special touch all of the drinks had glow-in-the-dark ice cubes in them.
I highly recommend this event for anyone who likes the water parks but not the crowds. For 2022 there will be H20 Glow Nights every Saturday from May 28th – Aug 27th but here are a limited number of tickets available. If you are interested don’t wait to get your tickets. I’d love to help you figure out how this could fit into your schedule.
