The first blooms of spring always make my heart sing. ~S. Brown
Every Spring Epcot comes alive with the Flower and Garden Festival. The topiaries are works of art and the outdoor kitchens feature foods that are inspired by flowers and gardens.
Flower and Garden Topiaries
All around Epcot, there are amazing topiaries created by the horticulturalists of Epcot. From your favorite characters to beautiful animals, the creations are works of art and make for beautiful and sometimes just plain fun, photo opportunities!
Flower and Garden Festival Passport
As with all festival’s there is a Festival Passport to help you know where to find the festival fun! Remember, the passport can be picked up at the entrance to the park as well as the registers of the outdoor kitchens and some merchandise kiosks.
Inside the passport is usually a challenge. You can get a stamp for select food/drink purchases at the time of purchase and turn completed board in for a treat!
There are various gardens to walk through around the park. Have your camera ready! Many amazing photo opportunities within the gardens. The garden featured is the Blossoms of Fragrance on the Bridge to World Showcase.
Also, there is a Butterfly House and a Healthful Trail just to name a few.
Flower and Garden Festival Yummy Food
The outdoor kitchens have outdone themselves again! The food options vary and gain inspiration from the garden’s on display.
Just a few of the amazing options include Mediterranean Flatbread & Vanilla, Rose Water and Pistachio Panna Cotta, 3 Daughters Brewing Pomegranate Hard Cider.
Hard Cider is considered one of the main stars of the Flower and Garden Festival and the food is inspired by the Epcot gardens.
Garden Rocks Concert
And last but certainly not least, is the free concerts offered during the festival! There were some notable artists there in 2022! Kool & the Gang, Starship, The Pointer Sister’s, Berlin, Toby Mac and many more. The concert line up changes every year and is one of the most popular events during the festival, so you won’t want to miss it.
You can get special dining (Eat to the Beat) and avoid the long lines and have reserved seating for the concerts. Reservations are required for the dining and are usually a specialty price fixe menu.
The Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is an annual event. Typically starting in March and runs through June. It is a beautiful time to visit Walt Disney World’s Epcot and truly when Epcot blooms the brightest.
