The beginning of the year is the time when the ARTS are center stage at Epcot! Festival of the Arts is one of the shortest running but one of the most popular festivals that Epcot holds.
For 2024, the dates for the Festival are January 12th-February 19th. The festival, like other Epcot festivals are included in your regular park ticket.
Outdoor Kitchens
As with all Epcot festivals, the food is a major attraction! At Festival of the Arts, the food is designed with creativity and the arts in mind!
A fan favorite that has returned for 2024 is the Pop Eats grilled cheese and tomato soup. This years beverage of choice is the Blanc de Bleu Cuvee Mousseux with Boba Pearls. YUM!
New this year is this amazing dish (above) a Sushi Donut at Goshiki. This item has salmon, tuna, shrimp, cucumber and sesame seed with wasabi aioli, siracha aioli and eel sauce! If you’re a fan of sushi, this is definitely something to add to your MUST try list!
The kitchens change every year but the creativity, pop of color and deliciousness stays the same!
Art Comes Alive
At the festival, the art comes alive. Throughout the park, you can step INTO famous works of art and add your own “creative” expression!
New for 2024 is the scene from Mary Poppins with the dancing penguins!
Frida is back this year and we are LOVING it! Such a fun piece to pose in.
Each painting has a placard that shows what the actual art work looks like and a little about the artist.
Meet the Artist
One of the most popular attractions through out the festival is getting to meet the artists whose art has been featured in Disney stores, merchandise and other mediums. The artists are on hand and after you purchase their work, typically will sign the piece for you. Truly making it a priceless piece.
Thomas Kincade’s nephew, Zac Kincade is there for 2024 and will illustrate your favorite Disney image on the back of a piece of art your purchase at the Thomas Kincade booth.
Jason is back this year and is extremely popular! He is located close to Morocco in World Showcase.
Be a Part of the Art
Every year, the festival has a large paint by number mural that everyone can participate in. After you finish painting your little squares, they typically have a bookmark or slip of paper showing you what the finished mural will look like. If you’re able to attend the festival several days, it is a lot of fun to see the art come together.
Disney on Broadway
Disney on Broadway is when the Broadway stars from Disney productions, come to Epcot and perform at the Festival. See stars from your favorite Broadway shows including Lion King, Aladdin, Little Mermaid, and Newsies, just to name a few.
