The Void: Step Beyond Reality
If you are a fan of virtual reality then you are going to want to check this out. This is not your typical virtual reality because this is a walk-through adventure. In Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire you will be immersed in the world of Star Wars as you try to capture Imperial intelligence the the Rebellion needs to survive. Every Star Wars fan HAS to try this. Coming later this year will be a new experience called Ralph Breaks VR. It will be blast to join Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope on this all new adventure. The Void is usually open from 10am-11pm but hours vary. Tickets go quick so you will want to make this your first stop when you get to Disney Springs to get your tickets, or better yet, buy your tickets online ahead of time at TheVoid.com . This experience is for guests 10 and up and at least 48 inches tall.
Splittsville Luxury Lanes
Splittsville is an awesome bowling alley as well as restaurant. They have everything you need to just drop in and bowl. Your family or group will get some lanes and everything you need for an hour or two of bowling. From the moment you walk in you will notice this is not your local bowling alley. The lanes are set up in groups of 4 or less and in different sections instead of just one row of 30 lanes. There a tables and a full restaurant/bar to enjoy while you are bowling as well. This is a great family activity to enjoy while you are in Disney Springs or a place to meet some friends at night.
Amphicar and Italian Water Taxi
Just outside The Boathouse you will fine a dock with amphibious cars. This is a vintage 1960’s car that will drive into the water for your tour and then drive back out upon completion. Reservations for this 20 min ride can only be made in person at the dock podium or inside the Boathouse at Disney Springs. Even if you aren’t going to take this adventure it sure is fun to watch!
Now what about the Italian Water Taxi Tours? There are the Venezia Champagne Cruises as well as the Venezia Wine-Tasting Cruises. For the Champagne Cruise, they offer a 30 minute or 60 minute cruise. The Wine-Tasting Cruise is offered on weekends. Reservations are required for both of these tours. Limited walk up reservations may be available, but make sure to let your travel planner know that you are interested in one of these water experiences. This is a great way to celebrate with your special someone.
Aerophile
The Aerophile is the world’s largest tethered helium balloon that will take you 400 feet in the air over Disney Springs. If the weather is clear enough you can see up to 10 miles. The balloon can hold up to 29 people. This can be a really fun activity on a beautiful Florida day.
AMC Movies at Disney Springs 24
This is a great indoor activity for your next trip. Not only is it an amazing movie theater, but they also have a full menu that can be delivered to your seat as well as a bar. You don’t have to just have popcorn during the movie here. Take your movie experience up a notch at this amazing theater. Let me tell you, there is no better thing than watching a brand new Disney movie in Disney Springs with a bunch of Disney fans.
