Every attraction at the Magic Kingdom is fun and will make you feel like a child at heart. By all means, if you always wanted to ride Dumbo, go for it! But if you are going to Disney without kids, Magic Kingdom can still be a lot of fun. Here are some rides that I think adults would enjoy and not want to miss. Some are roller coasters and others are “children’s rides” that are traditional and enjoyable for adults. Others are shows that adults would appreciate.
Adventureland
Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean are both fun and have lots of humor and references to the movies.
Frontierland
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a classic ride and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (2024) is a makeover from the original Splash Mountain.
Liberty Square
Hall of Presidents is a great rest spot with air conditioning. Haunted Mansion is a classic one too.
Fantasyland
Its a Small World is classic and Mickey’s PhilharMagic is a fun 4D show. Another great spot for some rest. 7 Dwarfs Mine Train is a fun ride but highly recommend buying an Individual Lightning Lane.
Tomorrowland
Tron Lightcycle/Run is the newest ride and also has a single rider line. Tomorrowland Speedway is great for some fun. Space Mountain is another classic option. Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover is a great relaxation ride that we always enjoy. Buzz Light Year Space Ranger Spin is great to try and get a good score. Monsters Inc. Laughing Floor is so funny. This is one of my favorites, even when I travel alone.
Walt Disney World Railroad is an enjoyable ride around the park or even a way to get form one place to another. There is a station in Frontierland and in Fantasyland in addition to the Main Street Station.
